London's Heaven nightclub has been given a protected status to guard it from redevelopment.

The Asset of Community Value status, which will protect Heaven for at least five years, was first awarded to the venue in 2020 and expired in January of this year.

Police in Ibiza are reportedly using drones fitted with infrared cameras to find illegal villa parties across the island amidst a crackdown on unlicensed events.

On September 8, Policía Local de Sant Josep shared video footage of drones being deployed over the island to find "illegal parties in unauthorised homes and spaces".

Rick Ross was arrested in Miami this morning (October 1) on a felony charge of battery by strangulation, CBS reports.

The rapper also faces a count of misdemeanour battery; both charges are linked to domestic violence, according to CBS.

Miami Beach police, who booked him at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, did not immediately return requests for further details or an arrest report.

On Sunday, People reported that Ross’ ex-girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick had publicly accused him of physical abuse.

Titled ‘Pyjamarama – guitar & vocal’, the stripped-back recording is the earliest known version of the 1973 single and has remained unheard for more than 50 years.

As well as pottery and other art classes, he was able to try his hand at guitar, djembe and other instruments, as well as early loop-based music production software.

He was playing drums in indie bands from his early teens while getting deeper into DAW-based production at home.

Synth history could have been different, if the FBT Synther 2000 became a hit when it was released in 1973. This filter-less three oscillator monster from Italy sounds unabashedly electronic. In no way does it imitate acoustic instruments, but it drones deeply and has a massive bass. Truly unique, and very rare, it is an interesting artifact in synth history. The Milton Gemichord 961 has kept me spellbound ever since I first played it at Museo Del Synth Marchigiano in 2021. It's a string/piano/brass/bass synth like many Italian keyboards of the time. But it sounds elegant and dramatic, also thanks to its "liturgic" section. It is utter unobtanium, with only three known to still exist. To commemorate the passing of Vladimir Kuzmin, the renown inventor of the Formanta Polivoks synthesizer, and to raise funds for his family, an independent group of musicians and instrument makers held a memorial event in Moscow. They asked me to contribute a video message about his legacy. Since Vladimir Kuzmin had previously commented on my videos, which was mind-blowing to me, I decided to tell that story. It is a bit embarrassing, since I got a few things wrong in my videos that he corrected me on. But at least I enjoyed my errors tremendously, and he did not seem to be mad about them. The Orban Stereo Synthesizer 245F turns mono audio sources into stereo, using a rather nifty comb filter. It made me horribly nauseous when I heard examples of it, so I had to get one. In use, I experienced that unpleasantness again. Until I plugged synths into it.

I use a lot of non-musical gear on my channel to make music. Sometimes I have a manual or a catalogue that helps me find out what the instruments were actually used for, but often the original purpose is lost. With the Brüel & Kjaer 7502 Digital Event Recorder, the unlikely first commercially available sampler, I was very lucky! I noticed three very unique pieces of gear on classifieds (Kleinanzeigen) that peaked my interest, and got into a conversation with the seller. I travelled to Halle, and got a look into a beautiful collection. Turns out, her late uncle was an engineer at the Reichsbahn, the east German railway form before the unification of Germany.
