Hayley Williams has debuted a new band called Power Snatch with Daniel James, the producer of her 2025 album, Ego Death At a Bachelorette Party.

They debuted a new song called “Assignment” on Apple Music 1 on Thursday, January 29, but fans have since pieced together that the duo began teasing the project since in 2025.

In July, Power Snatch teased a snippet of an untitled song on their official Instagram account.

Then in December, they released a song on Bandcamp called “DMS.”Williams will embark on her first solo tour in March, crossing North America and Europe in support of Ego Death.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have authorized an original Netflix documentary documenting the band’s ascent as childhood friends in 1980s Los Angeles, Variety reports.

Directed by Ben Feldman, with input from Anthony Kiedis and Flea, The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers will premiere on March 20.

Paragon, Nowadays, Public Records, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Pioneer Works, and Basement are among the nightlife spaces that will host the 2026 edition.

Thundercat is set to release his first album in six years.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have clarified that they had “had nothing to do with” a new Hillel Slovak-era Netflix documentary on a creative level, but have said they hope it’ll spark interest in his work.

“About a year ago, we were asked to be interviewed for a documentary about Hillel Slovak.

“I would rather be a drummer that’s maybe a bit less tight, but is showing onstage that we’re giving some kind of emotional performance.

The Paramore singer has teamed up with her frequent collaborator Daniel James – who helped co-write and produce much of last year’s 5/5-rated Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party – for the brilliantly-named Power Snatch.

Hayley and Daniel took to Apple Music 1 to officially premiere a track entitled Assignment, and since then fans have done some digging to find out more.

This is my favorite sampling setup so far. What I love about this setup is I can sample anything on my iPad! Like YouTube, Spotify, or sample VSTs which can also be sequenced and controlled from Digitakt II. Having the Octatrack in the mix allows me to sample and chop samples from the iPad through the Digitakt II or resample the Digitakt back and forth between the two boxes. Грустные новости. Умер Дмитрий Петрович Ухов, классик отечественной музыкальной журналистики, один из тех людей, без которого непредставима история советского и российского джаза. Невероятный эрудит, стилист, умевший тончайшим образом слышать музыку и влюблять в неё посредством слова. Аннотации авторства Ухова на мелодиевских пластинках я читал ещё маленьким, во взрослом возрасте (к сожалению, очень кратко) с Дмитрием Петровичем работал. Последние годы были для него тяжелыми.
